If so what's your favorite places and roads?
They have a great informative site with the latest info, places to go and see, weather, lots of good stuff,

The dragon is closed right now do to rockslides, check the tail of the dragon dot com website for latest news before going there the next couple weeks.

I went with a bunch of friends of mine a few years ago. We stayed at the Iron Horse Inn. Its a rent a tent kinda deal. You bring clothes and a toothbrush and they provide the rest. It was beautiful country. The tree of shame was my favorite. It was sad, but it also made you remember that nothing lasts forever. Hope you have fun!

I rode the dragon in sept. 09, also the cherohola skyway and through the Greaty Smoky Mtns. National forest. there are hundreds of beautiful routes in the Gatlinburg/Smoky Mountain area to ride.

Haven't had the chance to visit there yet but have an awesome video of it and lots of info on it as well. One of these day's I will make it there. Just one of my many things on my to do list.

Great place, remember it's a dry county so you need to buy any desired alcoholic beverage on the way there.

Riding the Dragon on a weekend is usually pretty busy and I don't recommend it. The road 28 right there at the Dragon Gas Station is an excellent way to ride all the way to Franklin, check it out on google maps, print some maps to take with you it's very helpful.

Is that Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee 318 curvers over 11 miles. Some good footage of it on youtube. Wish I could post one clip sent to me. Just silence and following a bike winding winding down the road and round each curve. Very therapeutic and chill out. Could chill you out and calm you down before you go to bed after a long hard day.

There's a place to stay just outside of Robbinsville called Two Wheel Inn, each room has it's own little adjoining motorcycle garage big enough for a couple bikes. Pretty cool spot, reasonable prices as well.
